met-data: This page provides local observational meteorological data from laboratory’s weather station.
citizen science: project involves citizens in participatory action research. An international network of scientists and interested members of the public working together to investigate their local environment and put their observations in a global context.

olympus alpine biblioteca: is a digital library that provides open-access to book-list repository and the ability to online data storage on user’s computer. A collection of bibliographic information, digitized pages of rare books and recent publications are freely available to the visitor for online distribution, research, study, copy and use. Respecting the open-access manifesto and the key principles in the digitization and making available of out-of-commerce works, we fulfill our obligation to the history of our region. O.A.B. collective was created to collect and share digital content of accessible non-profit/non-commodity information about climbing history of mt. Olympus. Currently the archive has approximately 400 titles and over 170 ebooks for research and monthly updated.

urban farming: we’re trying to understand how our food system is grown and what it really needs. We experimenting on organic fertilizing with municipal solid waste compost and we record how everyday special weather conditions [due to the mountain microclimate] effect on plant growth. We’re also trying to reduse the negative effects of chemical/animal-origin fertilizers on soil and environment limit its usage in sustainable agricultural systems.
bbs: is a computer server running software that allows users to connect to the system using a terminal program. Once logged in, the user can perform functions such as uploading or downloading software and data, reading news and bulletins and exchanging messages with other users through public message board and sometimes via direct chatting. In the early 1980’s, message Networks such us FidoNet, sprang up to provide services such as NetMail, which is similar to email. System also offer online games in which users can compete with each other.

stargazing: Observing and learning about the majesty of the night sky.
sungrazer project: is a citizen science initiative aimed at discovering and tracking ‘sungrazing’ comets that pass very close to the Sun. This project leverages data from solar observatories to identify and study these comets, which are challenging to detect due to their proximity to the Sun’s intense light.
sstv: [Slow Scan TeleVision] is a collaborative efford involving amateur radio operators, space agencies and astronauts on the International Space Station [ISS] to promote STEM education and amateur radio activities.
cryptoparty: is a decentralize movement with events happening all over the world. The goal is to pass on knowledge about protecting yourself in the digital space. This can include encrypted communication, preventing being tracked while browsing the web and general security advice regarding computers and smartphones. All cryptoparties follow the guiding principles.
